Entry fees and registration.
Entry fees for the 2019 WAC challenge (11th May) are as follows :
Each participant can register online from January 10th to avail of the early bird fee of € 30.00 right up to APRIL 11th (midnight)
From April 12th, fee is € 35.00 p/p up to last online reg date May 1st (midnight)
Registering on the day is possible but correct tshirt size etc can't be guaranteed and it also will take up time, online is preferred.
Boats with over 6 participants please email us for special rate.
A participant represents a paddler, rower, cox (coxswain), drummer, spare rower
or any body who goes on the water to do any of the courses..
Registration (from 10th Jan)
Participants register on line and can pay through the standard ACTIVE on-line safe payment
systems offered using debit or credit card. Email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
There's no problem changing the length of your chosen course up or down if required but let us know at registration on event day.
Changing a participant's name is no problem either.
The following minimum information is required for the on-line registration procedure :
Course type (choose a distance)
Contact person mobile and email address.
Details of each participant, full name, gender, DOB,
Country of origin
Name of club (if available)
Affiliation to any association, federation (if available)
Boat width (beam)
Number of oars
Number of participants / persons
Copy of insurance certificate (**)
Credit, debit card details
Acceptance of the WAC rules & regulations.
(**) Every participant requires to be covered by third party liability insurance with a minimum cover of € 3,000,000 and produce a copy of a current insurance certificate stating the extend of the cover, limit of liability without any excess.
If a participant is not a member of a club and/or is not covered by insurance as mentioned above, we can provide a “day membership which can be purchased at additional cost of € 10.00 per participant/person.
INSURANCE AND WAIVER
It will be the responsibility of each crew to have their boat insured against risk including public liability to third parties. WAC Kenmare being the organisers of the Wild Atlantic Challenge Kenmare and their sponsors, provide this event only on the understanding that the Clubs, their representatives and/or members, bear no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury or inconvenience to persons or other craft however arising, directly or indirectly by an accident or wrongful negligent act, default or omission of any member or any person during the Wild Atlantic Challenge event or other related activity. Crews shall acknowledge their understanding of this disclaimer on the official entry form before the start of the event.
WHEN YOU ARE IN REGISTRATION PLEASE SCROLL TO THE CORRECT CATEGORY = THE CHOSEN COURSE BY DISTANCE THEN FILL IN NUMBER OF VESSELS AFTER "INDIVIDUAL" OR "CREW REGISTRATION" .......... GO FOR IT !!!
