Complimentary T-Shirts will be given out at registration and can be worn for the challenge or the afters, these are proper sports shirts, 140GSM Fabric, Fully breathable moisture wicking material, 4 way stretching fabric for extra comfort, Flat Lock comfort stitching. (sounds like it will almost do the rowing for you !)
Courses.

There are 4 courses available on event day. All courses start at Star Outdoors (Dinish Island) and finish at Kenmare pier.

Course 1 (green) = 5km
This is a relatively straight run from Star Outdoors to the Kenmare pier and is suitable for the more novice rowers. The 5km will take on average between 40 minutes and 1½ hour to complete.

Course 3 (yellow) = 10km. 

This heads West (left) passed Dinish Island towards the Atlantic ocean and then turns back due East to Kenmare at the Perch rock after approximately 2.5 km and proceeds to Kenmare pier via Dromquinna harbour inside Dunkerron Islands. The 10km will take on average between 1 hour and 2 hours to complete.

Course 4 (blue) = 20km.
Course 4 heads West (left) passed Dinish Island towards the Atlantic ocean and then turns back at Blackwater Bridge towards Kenmare after approximately 6.5 km proceeding to Kenmare pier via Dromquinna harbour inside Dunkerron Islands. The 20km will take on average between 1½ hours and 2½ hours to complete.

Course 5 (red) = 30km.
This challenge heads West (left) passed Dinish Island towards the Atlantic ocean and then turns back at the Maiden Rock towards Kenmare after approximately 12.5 km and heads to Kenmare pier via Dromquinna harbour inside Dunkerron Islands. The 30km will take on average between 2½ hours minutes and 4 hours to complete.
Participants.

Persons allowed to enter: Anybody over 16 years of age using an oar, scull or paddle in any type of boat, kayak, canoe, paddle board competent to row & complete any of the 5 courses.

Prizes.

1. An individual medal will be awarded to each participant for completing the challenge as well as a  WAC T-shirt before the challenge at resistration.

For any of the above prizes the actual finishing times of boats are multiplied by a hull speed factor and multiple oar factor to arrive at the boats overall compensated challenge time.

Prize giving.

1. All individual medals will be given immediately after completing the event and can be collected at Kenmare Pier.

2. All other prizes will be given when all competitors have completed the course.
Time / place will be noted on the day.
