Just a note;  There is a peel back plan for different situations with respect to the weather if required and will be discussed at the safety briefing on the morning of the event. 

Participants.

Persons allowed to enter: Anybody over 16 years of age using an oar, scull or paddle in any type of boat, kayak, canoe, paddle board competent to row & complete any of the courses.

Prizes.

1. An individual medal will be awarded to each participant on completing the challenge and a  WAC T-shirt will be providedat registration.

Additional prizes will be given for the following

2. Course per category prizes :
  • 1st 10k course Male, Mixed, Female in its class (class determined by boat type/age)
  • 1st 20k course Male, Mixed, Female in its class (class determined by boat type/age)
  • 1st 30k course Male, Mixed, Female in its class (class determined by boat type/age)
  • 1st 10k kayak/Canoe course Male, Mixed, Female in its class (class determined by boat type/age)
  • 1st 15k Kayak/Canoe course Male, Mixed, Female in its class (class determined by boat type/age)
Prize giving.

1. All individual medals will be given immediately after completing the event and can be collected at Kenmare Pier (finish).

2. All other prizes will be presented when all competitors have completed the course at Kenmare pier (finish) .
